The basics

We collect information from you when you sign up for our newsletter, get in touch via our contact form, listen to our podcast, or inquire about our workshops and coaching services. We take your privacy seriously, but we also want to be straight with you about what we do with your information.

What we collect and why

Newsletter subscribers

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your name and email address. We use our ActiveCampaign to send you updates, and yes, we can see if you open our emails (that's how we know what content resonates). You can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email.

Contact form

If you reach out via our website, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and whatever you tell us in your message. We use this to respond to you. That's it.

Podcast analytics

We use Google Analytics and our podcast host Acast to understand how many people are listening and which episodes get traction. This is aggregated data—we're not tracking individual listeners.

Workshop and coaching inquiries

When we have exploratory conversations with potential clients, we may use AI (Otter or Gemini, our enterprise LLM) to transcribe those conversations. This helps us follow up accurately and provide better service. These transcripts are stored securely in our Google Drive.

  • Acast: Our podcast hosting platform

  • Gemini (Google): For transcribing coaching/workshop inquiry conversations

  • Our Team: We're a small team—both founders have access to the data we collect

We don't sell your information to anyone. Ever.

Security

We store your information securely using industry-standard platforms (Google Drive, Active Campaign). We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but let's be honest—no system is 100% foolproof. If we experience a data breach that could cause you serious harm, we'll let you know promptly.

How long we keep your information

Newsletter subscribers: We keep your data until you unsubscribe.

Inquiry and client data: We keep information related to workshop and coaching inquiries, transcripts, and client interactions for 7 years after our last contact with you. This aligns with standard Australian business record-keeping requirements.

General correspondence: We review and purge old contact form inquiries and general correspondence annually.

Your rights

You can:

  • Ask us what information we have about you

  • Ask us to correct or update it

  • Ask us to delete it

  • Unsubscribe from our newsletter anytime
